Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MANY Hired (operated by MANY Hired, LLC) collects, why, and what control you have. The short version: we use your resume only to make your documents, we delete it after 30 days, and we don't sell your data or use advertising trackers.

What we collect

Your order: your email address, the resume you upload or paste (which may include your name, contact details, work history and education), the job posting, and any notes you add.
Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status, amount and your email, never your full card number.
Employer posts: the job details and contact email you submit.
Job alerts: your email address and the search you chose (for example, "software engineer jobs in New York"), and when we last emailed you.
Packs: if you buy a 3-pack, a copy of your resume is kept with it so later orders take one click. You can delete it from your pack page at any time.
Visit counts: our pages report which page was viewed or clicked, the referring site, your country and device type, so we can see what's useful. This uses no cookies and stores no IP address: each visitor is counted with a one-way code made from the IP address and browser plus a random value that is replaced every day, so we can't recognize anyone from one day to the next. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we also use, likewise works without cookies.
Technical data: standard server logs, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that we use to limit abuse.
Cookies: only the essential ones: a security token for forms, a cookie that remembers access to your own order page (and your pack, if you bought one), and the site owner's sign-in. No advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

To create and deliver your tailored resume, cover letter and report, and to make your free revision.
To process payments and refunds, and to send you emails about your order (receipts, delivery, problems).
To send the job alerts you asked for. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service running.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use your resume for marketing.

Service providers

Anthropic processes your resume and the job posting to write your documents. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this data is not used to train its models.
Stripe processes payments.
Cloudflare provides security and content delivery for the site.
Our web hosting provider in the United States stores the site and its data.

How long we keep it

Your resume, the job posting, your notes and your generated documents are deleted 30 days after your order.
Orders that are never paid are deleted after 2 days.
A pack's saved resume is deleted when the pack expires, 30 days after its last credit is used, or as soon as you delete it.
Job alerts last until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 14 days, and unsubscribed alerts after 90.
Visit counts are kept for 90 days; daily totals (with no per-visitor data) are kept longer.
Nightly backups of our database are kept on our server for up to 3 months, then deleted.
Basic order records (email, date, amount, status) are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your resume and documents sooner, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing [email protected] from the address you ordered with. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to complain to a regulator.

Security

The site uses HTTPS. Uploaded resumes and generated files are stored outside the public web folder and are only available through your private order link.

Children

MANY Hired is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
