Sr.Engineering Controller_VM

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Budget Planning and Monitoring:  Drive, Lead and collaborate with Sales and GTMs, CTGs to define and plan budgets with clear premises and achieved each BP/CF milestones .
2. Cost Structure Analysis & Optimization: Perform detailed analysis and breakdown of engineering R&D cost elements and Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements without putting risk on running projects
3. Cost Reporting and Communication: Develop accurate, efficient cost tracking approaches(e.g. dashboards) and reporting mechanisms for relevant stakeholders(e.g. NE & HODs & PAOs) and also ensure transparent communication across HODs and NE.
4. Process Improvement: Continuously improve and refine internal cost control processes, tools and methods for R&D Cost Controlling
5. Collaboration Across Stakeholders: Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to align on Project status, budgets, forecast and risk tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting, Cost Control or related fields is preferred. Prior experience in R&D cost control within manufacturing or technology industries is a plus.
• 3–5 years of working experience in R&D/engineering cost control and budget management; familiar with R&D cost accounting, budget preparation and project cost control processes.
• High level of ownership and energy
• Engineering background is preferred and also familiar with relevant project management tools
